Brief overview of your involvement with the foster carer or Nurture Fostering
We have regular communication with the foster carer, as they care for two primary-aged children attending our school. Our involvement includes home-school liaison and safeguarding. We also have regular communication with Ashleigh as the Supervising Social Worker.
Did the foster carer show an understanding of the child's needs?
Excellent.
The foster carer clearly understands the individual needs of each child and adapts their approach accordingly.

Excellent.
We have regular communication with Ashleigh, who clearly knows the children well as individuals and demonstrates an excellent understanding of their needs.
How was your experience of the interaction with the foster carer?
There have been many positive interactions with the foster carer. They visited the school to understand the children's daily environment and routines. The children's attendance and punctuality have been excellent, despite previous difficulties with attending school.

The foster carer has identified technology as an area where they would welcome additional support and is proactive in asking for help when needed.

The foster carer's strengths include their kindness and consistency. The children are well socialised and involved in a variety of activities outside of school. They are adaptable and willing to make changes to ensure the children's individual needs are met.
How was your experience of the interaction with the SSW?
Excellent.
Communication with Ashleigh has been excellent, and she has been very supportive throughout. Ashleigh maintains a high level of professionalism while always keeping a child-centred and focused approach.
